One of the best spots in Newcastle, I've become a regular here now. Super cool vibe, nice decor, friendly staff, great music and the best Chinese food in the North East. Seriously, the chefs here are really talented.The menu is authentic Chinese and it's absolutely packed with flavour, especially if you like spicy food you must try this place out.The karaoke rooms are great too. Awesome place!

First time visit as part a birthday group, with private hire of one of their Karaoke rooms. It was a toss up between here or Cosy Joes - After 9 is far superior and cheaper.Pretty cool LED walls in the Karaoke rooms, great service and excellent Chinese food served direct. Staff friendly and helpful. Prices were pretty good too. Would recommend!

I had my first experience at After 9 on a Monday night with my partner for a Chinese meal via the app First Table. The staff were all incredibly polite, helpful and welcoming! The menu was absolutely wonderful, and every dish was cooked to perfection.When my partner couldnt have a draught beer due to the lines being cleaned, we were then offered a cocktail of our choice at half price! A gesture which was not necessary but incredibly appreciated.We definitely need to come back and try more adventurous food, as they had everything authentic Chinese!I recommend that everyone tries this establishment.
